PROGRAMS
Ubuntu Village educational program with emphasis on African cultural heritage at Holy Savior Academy.
UBUNTU – I am because we are. Principles of humanity and goodness for life.
Ubuntu Village School is a grassroots community education initiative that emerged out of a desire to design and create supplemental education programming for our community with an emphasis on African cultural heritage. Students and leaders meet on Saturday mornings at Holy Savior Catholic Academy.

Some glimpses of Ubuntu…
Students have been learning the importance of DNA, and discovering more about ourselves and our ancestral history. We can link the earliest human being to Africa. Students conducted an experiment to extract DNA from spinach!
In drumming sessions students dance, clap, sing, and of course drum!
